fisher is actually the easiest off job to level by far because the exp rewards from ocean fishing are legitimately insane

Ich hab mittlerweile alle Jobs inklusive DoH/DoL auf 80, letztere aber ausschließlich durch expert deliveries bei der Grand Company (hat Monate gedauert lol). Ich hab irgendwie 0 Motivation, ins Craften einzutauchen, weil es so unendlich kompliziert wirkt. ;w;

Inventory management is my BIGGEST frustration. I made the mistake of leveling multiple jobs at the same time as my main job and now my inventory is a disaster and I have no idea how to sort it out lol. I have crafting stuff, gathering stuff, alt jobs, I haven’t even leveled my main job to max or finished the msq (almost to shadowbringers). If I could do it all over again, I would’ve just played one job, beginning to max, then started on other stuff.

There's always a few materials that are used across expansions, often metals, things like silver etc but also some alchemy herbs and stuff like rubber. When you right click an item and check its recipe uses if something is used across multiple crafts in multiple expansions (ex L20 recipes and L60 recipes) then it "might" be worth hanging on to.

As much as possible I would try and secure the L500 DOH/DOL tools and armour from Rowena's using scrips. When you enter a new expansion, right at the very tippy start advancement can sometimes be roadblocked if your gathering/crafting stats are too low. You sometimes just can't actually gather/craft those initial levequest items to start the snowballing or it will be much slower. If you can't get the blue L500s then try and get some HQ green max level stuff from the market.

My to do list right now is:
1. Complete eureka and baldesion arsenal for the mount
2. Get red mage, summoner and dragoon to 80
3. Level up two more crafters
4. Prepare challenge log for week of release

Prep for Viera and Hrothgar: look at the MB and buy up every hat you might like now on the offchance Endwalker lets us use anything good besides glasses.
Also Viera get Pulse(Lightning) so its to be expected hrothgar will similarly get Pulse(Snow) so buy those off the mogstation.
Also also Viera get both Nier hairstyles so hrothgar will likely will as well. Those hurrs are cheap af on the mb.

I'm multi-tasking Binding of Isaac. I know that is a wicked game but I play it for the cool rogue-like Zeldaesque dungeon crawling and the simple story, which balances out the heavy story and grinding in FFXIV. ;)

Exactly what I am doing: playing something different currently until the big Endwalker push. I prepped everything, got everyone to 80 so now I await the Endwalker launch...I do occasionally work on my house though, dont want it to look half finished come Endwalker release.

Apperciate the ideas! honestly after recently finishing the MSQ and figuring out which of the tanks I want to main (only 5% chance it's GNB as it's the only one I haven't leveled) I was kinda sitting at a lost yesterday, I think I'll focus on getting tomestones to get all my Exarchic gear augmented and getting my relic weapon fully finished and see from there, I mainly want to focus on end game hard content but there's little point when EW is just around the corner and I don't wanna burn myself out from lvling so I guess it'll be figuring out making gil so I can save up for my own house in EW!

Im mostly prepared and ready for Endwalker. I've got most of my combat jobs leveled up to 80 that I want to use during Endwalker, there are 3 jobs I still need to finish before release. Crafters are all stuck between 50 and 60, gatherers are all lvl 80. I've got gil ready to put down for a house once the land rush starts (waiting for people to move from current plots to Ishgard). Recently finished Coils for story and started Omega for the story. I still need to do some more relic weapon farming and high end raid gear farming. I need to finish leveling WAR, DRK and WHM, last healer not lvl 80 and only tanks not lvl 80.
Yep I'm mostly ready for Endwalker.

I only leveled fisher for my retainers. I don't like spending time fishing either, but I made a lot of gil with my fishing retainers at Shadowbringers launch.
