I want to take a moment to clear up some concerns that a few people have raised about me copying builds from others without giving credit. Let me be very clear—I do not copy builds. Every build I create is based on what I personally find to be strong in the current season.

Destiny 2, like any other game with a limited pool of exotics and abilities, naturally leads to similar builds appearing across different creators. When a new season drops, sandbox changes and new synergies emerge, making old exotics relevant again. This is why you might see me—or other content creators—revisiting the same exotic armor multiple times over the years. That doesn’t mean anyone is copying; it simply means that the meta is shifting, and we’re adapting to it.

For example, I’ve made Nezarec’s Sin, Swarmers, Chromatic Fire, etc builds multiple times over the past two - three years, not because I copied anyone, but because it remains a strong choice whenever Void 3.0 gets buffs or when new weapons and mods synergize well with it. My approach is to reassess each season’s sandbox, test different combinations, and bring you the best builds that work in high-level content.

If you ever see a build on my channel that looks familiar—whether from me or another creator—it’s because good builds naturally resurface when they remain strong. I always give credit when I’m directly inspired by someone else’s work, and I always ensure that my builds are tested, optimized, and presented in my own way.

Necrotics with arcane needle has been one of my go-to synergies because it just pairs so well, the poison tick activating unravel and making the needle projectiles spawn out everywhere. Honestly, if you just build into melee regen, thorn or osteo isn't even necessary and it's just overkill. With how much insane ad clear one arcane needle can do, your exotic weapon is better off being something that can do damage or chunk champions.

Love this synergy. I use the exotic warlock bond with necrotic and spirit of the claw so I get an extra melee charge. I also use the arc melee where u slide and come up from a ground. It spreads the poison and chain lightnings. So fire. Also thorn is pretty decent for boss damage

I am a warlock main and have been running poison for a while. It works with prismatic really well. I also run it with spirit of the necrotic on my class item with spirit of the claw to get an extra melee.

Couldn't help but notice resilience at 99 with discipline at 103 while your grips have an extra disc mod in em at 1:55, not big but you should totally tweak that in your dim loadout

Im still using Striga. They nerfed the poision spread from the gun but Necrotic Grips still give it plenty of mass killing potential and with a kinetic damage mod it still does crazy work. That roll of Corrective Measure it pretty nice, might actually run VOG to get one of those. Great vid as always 👏🏻

I've been using this build for years, and It's only gotten better over time. if you really want to maximize thorn use strand. pair it with the wanderer and consume your shacklenade. now thorn has suspending and poison. also works with necrochasm really well

I've got a lovely necrotic syntho solipsism and a very similar build, but I use the arc aspect (I forget it's name) instead of Helion so I can slide into enemies, explode them and spread my poison 😅

As a hunter main, I pray they add spirit of the necrotic to the exotic class item😔. I’ve been wanting to make a build like this with thorn so badly for ages. At least a lucky pants thorn build is good enough.
