I have the Ryobi cordless dual temp 60W and was about to buy this to use more industrial glues (i.e. 120W+). Thanks to your video, it's better to go full corded and get the 220W if I need a more powerful and use the Ryobi I already have when I prefer convenience, especially since 60w is good enough for most situations.

Buy two of these and hack it to use two of the 60w heaters. Eliminate the AC input.

Hi, is there a way to get in touch with you directly? I am looking at doing a project for our technical training college.
Thanks.

A while back I was looking to go cordless with hot glue guns, but with the options at the time I gave up. I think the only video I found from you was of the gray surebonder and first ryobi and I was skeptical toward both. I haven't even looked since, until now.. I noticed on surebonder's website they say "the battery feature also delivers 120-watts of heating power", is it possible they changed it since you reviewed it, or are they claiming the one you tested is supposedly (2) 120 watt output systems that if combined, like you demonstrated is technically 240 watt? Also, there seems to be a new ryobi option, have you had a chance to check it out? I own a ton of Makita, and the reason I was leaning surebonder is because of this gun (supposedly more power) plus I need the adapter, but if surebonder isn't any better I'd just assume go with the ryobi. You own them both, which one do you prefer?

Wow. That's fairly lame. I've had my eye on that for quite a while, too.
