Always like these videos from one of the hardest working families in America. Always learn something new.

I liked the split-screen segment. It gives us a chance to see more of Jade in action.

I worked in the lumber industry in Maine for most of my adult life, I was a certified NELMA grader for eastern white pine and hemlock studs for many years..

Mesmerising, the saw, dog, pick-up trucks. Makes you want to board the next Mayflower going west from England

My family farm's barn was constructed mostly of hemlock in 1835. The sill beams that sit on dry laid stone are black locust. the main support girters are white oak. The rest is hemlock including the post and beam construction, rafters, and board and batten siding. You can still see the cedar shingles under the metal roof that was added later. Hemlock is a wonderful construction lumber, with a high tensile strength and rot resistance.

Years ago when I started following you in your early uploads, I would never have guessed you would’ve kept it going this long and consistently with steadily improving quality. Sure, you and Jade are beautiful, but that can attract and keep viewers for only so long. You manage to keep refreshing your content. As a retired professional forester I am keenly aware of how you apparently work to educate yourself. Example: Tsuga canadensis. No big deal to me, but I suspect relatively few viewers know genus and species of trees you mill. Just wanted you to know that your efforts are noticed and admired. Carry on.

I used hemlock for my deck projects. it’s longevity against mother nature is one of the best out there.
I also like to hunt the hemi’s for deer because they like it too!

Hemlock, also marketed as Hem-Fir is perhaps the most common building and construction wood used in North America.

Nice camera angle. Now we need a tachometer, oil temp gauge, water temp, alternator next to the gauge for blade tension. Then a blade speed meter. A readout for blade height over the bed would be cool, too. Pretty soon that mill will be starting to drink coffee. LOL

I guess not every video can have dual dancing, skidder driving, rock climbing, machine repairing and firewood delivery!

I used to hunt deer in a chunk of woods referred to as "the Hemlocks". It was wet, thick and muddy. Wear ya out just getting in and out of the woods!

I would certainly recommend this approach if it helps your customers.

The first real logging I did was in hemlock. The paper company paid $33 @ cord of logs cut 100" long. We were paid as though the logs were.
