It's not just the fact that the lore is shockingly consistent with itself, it's the fact that you would never expect lore and story details this intricate to be from a series like Kirby of all things.

One of my favourite tidbits it's how ever since one of Popstar's moons was blown up in Adventure, it's always been shown with the massive crescent-shaped hole in the same place in subsequent appearances

Drawcia is still my favorite boss. Her theme is so perfectly crafted for the fight, it's dignified, yet with notes of chaos and disorder in the background, betraying her true nature. The paint witch is not of the Kirby realm, unlike most kirby bosses, she's an outsider, a being that shouldn't be there. And as the cloak falls, and the soul of Drawcia takes the stage, the music follows suit, turning into a chaotic jumbled mess, to match the eldritch abomination you're fighting. It has turned your world into nothing but colours and discord, chaos reigns over order, and the world either returns to normal, or ends entirely, depending on your victory or loss, and the music makes damn sure you know this.

Remember, Kracko can't be killed, because there'll always be another one somewhere.

The description on Kracko further says that he is immortal and he takes every loss against Kirby personal.

Then there is king DDD who has had a consistent character arc that even carries into an entire different franchise

Oh and don't forget about Dedede. Man's got a better character development arc than most protagonists out there. From a false emperor despised by his subjects, to a penguin questioning his own actions, wishing to fight Kirby once more in all out combat, in Revenge of the king, the Masked dedede fight. His old attitude died in that fight, just as his mask split. The false king died, but the real Dedede was born that day. Then he vowed to become a king worthy of his title, taking actions worthy of a hero's title. Eventually leading to him taking a stand against the hordes in forgotten land to save a *single* Dee. No subjects left behind.

Most of his lore is in pause screens and contextual clues. But damn.

My favorite thing about Kirby Lore isn’t how surprisingly dark it gets, it’s just how _connected_ everything is. Especially since Return to Dream Land, the universe feels so real and lived in, like there are so many more stories beyond what we see. Every adventure matters, if even on just a basic level, and makes the world of the series such a joy to explore.

I love how Kracko is immortal meaning he will eventually win, but he still can’t help but get emotional with how hard he tries yet fails.
