One year gap in resume - How do I explain this?

What does a recruiter want to hear, when they ask, “can you explain this gap in your working history?”

In this case, you just want to be mindful of the hiring manager and the recruiters time. So if you're scheduled to have a meeting with them on Wednesday at 8 a.m.

If possible, let them know a little bit before that so that you haven't ghosted them and taken up that time away from them.

It's just a matter of respect, you know, responding, loving, letting them know, you know, thank you so much for the offer.

I'm going to decline. If you feel comfortable, you can always provide details as to why you declined. but that's not 100% necessary and totally up to you.
Yeah. So just be prompt and professional as much as possible. You know, call or email your recruiter. Even thank them for an opportunity.

So good manners, you know, go a long way, and it really just keeps the door open for future roles.

I've had a gap of 1 year now for medical leave cause i got a back injury during work related to stress so it's been a tough road cause extreme back pain but it's been better
