He did not give an ounce of information on women statistics. He went on a tangent. Give data about how women have it difficult under this regime. He could have raised employment, safety, and rising food prices which affect women. Disappointed. I really thought he was onto something.

Caste census should not happen instead an economic based census should happen and criteria should be solely economic as we know today in 21st century money power is more influential than which caste someone belong to.
The affirmative action for SC ST is a good action but it should also have a time when to stop.
OBC is a big community and
Providing quota within quota may limit the voters choice within a constituency hence one should not only look from political leaders point of view but also from voters. Reserving 50% seats ( since they are not going to increase the seat and women are anyway goin to accomodate with male seats only) will significantly impact voters choice.
As rightly said OBC community has significantly large population hence it should be the duty of political parties to give more women candidates from this category. Let constitution be flexible and intra party commitment should govern rest.

Rahul Gandhi is indeed an immature leader and do not understand the implications of ammending constitution.
Our constitution has never been so rigid. Also remember we are working to uplift OBCs and don't expect them to be OBC for so long and govt envision to see 2047 as a devloped Bharat so working on that goal.

We see providing reservation is easy as all parties will come in support because no party want to go against large number of vote. But is that same case to repeal such provisions . No so I want that reservation should be used for affirmative action and without compromising merit.

I support this bill with all the provisions being logical and rational. Congress from the very beginning ( during British era) wanted more number of reserved seat and what we see today hindu, Muslim, castes is nothing but the legacy of Congress views only which was well exploited by Britishers. Today we don't want to carry those historical "divide and rule" policy rather "sabka sath sabka vikas sabka vishwas" policy.
