It's a brand new car.... not supposed to be a scratch and dent car. Those guys are assholes for not just bucking up and getting it fixed. There's a scratch and dent guy in Columbus Ohio I watched remove dents from a car in a parking lot. When he was done the cat looked perfect and he charged them like $30 per dent. He removed some light scratches too. It was cool to watch and I was surprised at how affordable it was.

I was so hype for this video. Feel for you man. I already found a ding on my Scat Pack. We need to get our two beasts together! After watching the end, I’d end whatever conversations you’ve got with the dealership and move on. Totally agree that it’s BS. If my Scat Pack would’ve arrived like that I would’ve stopped the process and stolen my SXT keys back 100%. My SXT had wear and tear, but that was expected. Brand new? No freaking way man. Better off just cutting as many ties as you can with that dealer, give em the metaphorical finger. Especially if they’re just passing blame.

I'm happy for you! My Camaro had a small dent as well from the factory that I didn't catch. You however do have quite a bit of scratches that I didn't have. It sucks but you caught it first day on video and make sure to keep us posted on what Chevy says about it and what they do about it. Also good call on them NOT washing it. They "washed" mine and I then had to have it all buffed out. I did the PPF and that does help with the OCD over time as we care for our Camaros.

I can relate took delivery of my 2021 Camaro LT1 couple weeks ago that I flew in to pickup and drove home to find a paint chip on the lower rocker panel when I washed her the next day. The dealership stepped up after I sent pics to my sales rep asking them to cover the issue and they ended up cutting a check to cover the paint chip so stay on the hauler and dealership to hopefully step up to cover your damage even if you got the response you did I would run it to the highest level of Mgmt within the dealership you can to get it resolved as you have real time video of the issues as soon as it came off the hauler. She is pretty and you will FALL IN LOVE with her more daily as I have owned 4 Mustangs and one each Challenger and a 20 Camaro V6 and she is by far my FAV!!! Stay strong keep the positive attitude and fight to get your issues handled and covered!!!

No such thing as being too picky. When purchasing a "new" car it should be perfect. The dealer is being a total jerk and I would square up with them through your all important dealer surveys and Google feedback. We ordered a 2021 Scat Pack and took delivery in June and it stays in the garage 95% of the time. It makes me so nervous to get it out and use it as it's intended. Which is better, a perfect car but don't use it or a car you enjoy everyday that will eventually show some wear and find the right balance, although I struggle with that notion. It's obvious that you love the car and rightfully so. Get the damage repaired and enjoy that beast. Awesome choice with the color and wheel package.

I’m the same way bro. We work hard and pay a lot of money. Once you get the pint corrected and then ppf make sure to then ceramic coat the ppf. I’m sure you already planning on it. That’s the life of us car guys. We are perfectionists as it should be

We got ours delivered in April I told the dealer the same thing don’t wash they did anyways I almost had a Heart attack when the delivery guy climbed thru the window to get it out 200 miles had to have it towed to have the valve springs replaced almost 2000 miles all that in the past we love love this car the power is just unreal

Congratulations on your new Camaro. I too love that color. I found a 2022 Camaro LT1 in transit, in the same color, that I placed a deposit on to guarantee that car was mine. Like you I made specific instructions to the dealership not to wash it, etc which they honored. However after washing and cleaning it for seemed like hours, i found damage on mine also. I have been a car guy all my life and have owned numerous cars, 46 to be exact. Even though it’s frustrating I’ve realized that when I give the dealership the opportunity of try fixing anything it comes back worse. Therefore I just accept it is what it is. It’s good to see someone like myself that is just as picky as I am with their cars lol. Enjoy that gorgeous Camaro, I am!

It’s all good! I’m the same way. When I got my 2021 2ss 1lE it came to me from Kansas (to Texas) and the paint was in such bad shape. I’m like you and sure were not alone. We know it’s gonna wear in and get ding and scratched but when you buy new, you expect new.
