This week, we’re back in the Wild Imaginary West with a farm that’s under attack. The monster in this diorama is one we’ve seen before, but I recently commissioned it to be professionally re-sculpted for a secret project I’ve been working on.

I’m very excited to introduce that project to you all next week! Stay tuned.

Some of my patrons have channels of their own. Check them out here:

This is my official petition to have an WIW Hellbender Salamander diorama. They’re already considered “giant”, so I feel like it’s a natural next step!

He doesn’t look like a monster.. it looks like he’s returning the wagon wheel and fence post he just stole.. and looks like he’d give great hugs..

"it might not be the best painted miniature" is literally really great paint job lol

“The outcome of this diorama is a roll of the dice.” Now I see what you did there!

What did the buffalo say to his son when he dropped him off in a corn field?

Can we all agree that the American Bison is the coolest beast in America? Like, they literally run INTO INCOMING THUNDERSTORMS because they're just too cool to wait them out Normally! Not to mention when two male Bison Fight, you can FEEL the impact of their Heads SLAMMING together in your Chest! It's absurd and amazing and I thank God for these beautiful creatures every day!

If you have any Bison facts please share! I'd love to learn more!

As a Nebraskan that for sure looks like a cornfield. well done Boylie

we all know it is still considered beef whenever a bison goes after somebody.

Hi, farmer here. Corn is actually a grass! Doesn’t look like the grass you used, but your head was in the right place. Also your cornfield needs some end rows. Those are rows going the opposite direction of the main field. So in your diorama, end rows would be running parallel to the fence, then further into the field the main rows would be running perpendicular to the fence.

So soothing. You could describe paint dry, and I would still be completely relaxed.

As a filmmaker, I have always appreciated Boylei’s eyelines. This is a good example: it looks like the Bison is looking EXACTLY at the farmer. All his dioramas are perfect in this way. Makes a difference.

Awesome! I love how you can basically pick your own outcome for what happens next. More bison rampage? Corn field munchfest? Bison walking off with his new wheel and fence trophies….and maybe a stalk of corn for a snack 😂

The OSL on the Plains Shepherd monster is absolutely breathtaking! Intimidating but majestic, another job well done!

The cow explosion diorama almost overshadows the entire video. You’ve got some serious competition from your patrons good sir. 😮

The grass you glued together reminded me of the grasses and reeds from a river I used to fish at as a kid. I loved watching the turtles and snakes as we fished. We got a lot of panfish from it, and clams. Anyway, thanks for uploading this, I found it nice to watch.

This may seem like one of the more simple dioramas you've done, but it's one of my favorites because of the story that it comes with.

For some reason I want to see the Plains Shepard throw hands with another monster of similar size.
He looks too badass for this to be his last diorama.

I love seeing all the younger kids' attempts in the patreon art challenge (along with all the more experienced diorama-ists, of course). It's a really great way to give encouragement to continue in the creative arts!

Love this diorama. Small and simple yet tells a complete story. Always love taking a brief trip into the Wild Imaginary West.
