What is Proto-Danksharding?

EIP 4844, also known as Proto-Danksharding, is an ethereum improvement proposal that is set to take place sometime within the next year. It will establish data blobs, blob carrying transactions, multi-dimensional fee markets, and KZG commitments in preparation for full Danksharding. Danksharding doesn’t decrease tx fees its sole purpose is to make l2s settling tx on l1 cheaper. A simple swap on a dex will b the same depending on demand. Danksharding doesn’t change the shit UX when demand is high
