The Nike Vaporfly 3 is the eagerly awaited update to the hugely popular Vaporfly 2. Unlike its predecessor, the Vaporfly sees a number of updates across the length of the shoe to increase comfort and improve performance on race day.

One of the biggest updates is a revamped outsole design. This sees a thinner covering than the previous version which has allowed a very slight increase in midsole foam. The shoe also features a new waffle outsole rubber at the front of the shoe to improve grip and durability.

The Adidas Adios Pro 3 is the latest version of Adidas’s long-distance race shoe. It features Energyrods 2.0 running the full length of the shoe that work alongside two layers of Lightsrike pro midsole foam.
