As a West Ham Fan, I don't really mind the counter attack playstyle - when it works it works and it usually works against stronger teams (beating Arsenal twice, Man United, Totenham, Chelsea (allbeit with a United and Chelsea having a poor season)). I think we lose too many points or games to teams further down the table - draw against Bournemouth & Palace, loss to Everton, Brentford & Fullham and then the narrow wins at Luton, Forest, Burnley also raises questions about whether the approach should be the same for all games as Scott mentioned.

I am more concerned about squad management - not using subs earlier in the season and having them rot on the bench. I bet Cornet, Benrahma, Fornals and Johnson will go onto somewhere and look like a real loss for West Ham. I don't think its as simple as saying they're not good enough when they've performed for the club in the premier league in previous years.

On top of that you have potentially losing Mubama and Marshall in the not too distant future as he doesn't use youth nearly as much as he could/should.

Ryan mate, when your teams chasing a game, you don't substitute a right back with another right back. What do you mean he only brought on Johnson because he had no one to bring on? He had Marshall and Mubama sat on the bench. Instead he brings on a defender with 25mins to play and waits until there are just 10mins left before bringing on attacking substitutes.

People - especially people that don't follow West Ham week in, week out - conflate West Ham's recent success and associate it to Moyes' tenure, when in reality it's the record HALF BILLION invested in that same timeframe that's driving the success.

Any half competent manager would've surpassed Moyes any which way given the funding and talent handed to the manager.

The way people use how many games you go to as a “big dick” measuring contest is laughable. You might live 300 miles away or even 3000 miles away and have very little opportunity to go to games, that doesn’t reduce how passionate you are about your team and how valid your opinions are.
