Kansas is one of America’s treasures! To hell with the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame, they deserve to be in the Smithsonian😊

Back in the 70s I sent Phil Ehart a pair of drum sticks to sign which he did and sent them back to me. I wrote that I like the music but I’m not good enough to play along with him. He wrote back that I should keep on playing which I did and ended up playing in some bands myself. Thanks Phil.

Well, Phil, in my unqualified, but honest opinion, you DID kick every other band's ass. And, you did it convincingly!

Their Best stuff was NOT on the Radio.
Kerry Livgren is one of THEE BEST Lyricists EVER.
Phil's Drumming is painfully under appreciated.

RICH WILLIAMS there are damn few guitarists who play at your level, i've been going to your concerts for over 50 years, you and kerry dueling, brilliant, PHIL you are in the top 10 in the world on percussion, being humble doesn't change that, RONNIE thanks for taking the mic, KANSAS HAS NO EQUAL

Its a rare day I don't listen to Kansas other band surpasses these guys in there genre? And pretty much every time I listen to them i always think the same thing...Holy shit what a band. Being a drummer I stole alot of his fills and he's still my favorite rock drummer.

Kansas ... IMHO. .the greatest American Band after the Eagles. Kansas played some of the most memorable music ever ..and the most iconic guitar song .Dust in the Wind

Sadly, (a sigh 😕) look at what happened to The Little River Band when they didn't secure their name. Pretty tragic.

Tom was the blonde singing with Stevie and the guy playing the guitar solos was mike Campbell who co-wrote the song. The two female backup singers Lori perry (who ultimately married Stevie’s brother), and Sharon Celani basically sang on every song Stevie ever did outside of Fleetwood Mac in her entire career

As a huge Steve Walsh fan, I saw it impossible to replace him & although that may be the case, John Elefante is as close as you can get and arguably in some ways, he was better dependent on your perspective

Not too many singers better than Steve
