I'm glad the mini split is simple to operate. My tiny home will have two. Not that one won't cover it but the bedroom can be closed off and therefore would need it's own unit.

Bill, temp light is an easy fix. Just a colored sticky note over it will allow you to see the temp and tone down the bright light. If you get them with the full sticky on whole back of the note, they don't peel up. I use this on lights and clocks in my bedroom.

Our Lance Truck Camper's stereo has a bright blue light that bothers us at night. I put PEEL AND STICK wall decor over it and it blocks the light. I got mine at Dollar Tree and cut just what I needed from the design. Mine is dark blue and covers thr light completely. It's been on there a few years now. The corners eventually pull out, but I just push it back on. I've had no need to replace it yet. Try it! Also, our truck camper is 7ft wide, not 8, and we love parking almost anywhere. One time we had to park and sleep in the regular parking right outside the Love's store area and we fit! We had permission as it was a small Love's in the city of Oklahoma City. It was late and had no choice, but were grateful we fit!! ❤

You’ll find it works well down to about zero F, colder than that it turns on resistance heaters and consumes a lot of power, check the spec sheet, you will very rarely be below zero, so won’t notice most likely.. for the bright light, a piece of cardboard taped over it will let you get to sleep 👍. I have a Mitsubishi Hyper-heat 4 zone 48K BTU mini split, it’s rated down to -14F before it starts consuming a lot of power, but all of them have heaters in them that run below freezing to keep the oil /refrigerant from freezing solid..

Interesting video! We added either a magnet or carboard and tape over all our little lights in our camper. For us, our fridge is the brightest. :)
