Can you demonstrate how to do a root touch up for medium blonde hair with dark roots without bleaching using high light dye and toner

Great video! Thanks! What about when you have the same issue, but are also covering Grey roots? Tips?

Oh girllll...i just have to chime in and say you've got to try pure african shea butter and using it to moisturize your skin. I take the extra step of whipping it in my stand mixer. It will not clog your pores, and yet is the most moisturizing product you will ever find. It is completely safe for adults, kids, and even pets.🙂
Love your videos, I'm a baby stylist in Cos school, and this video in particular is so helpful!❤️

I want to do balayage at home should I do the medium blonde first on my dark roots and then do the highlights and bleach the ends or should I highlight the roots and bleach the ends first and then do the medium blonde to the roots and then tone the entire hair? Please give me an advice 💜

This is a great tutorial/ explanation for correcting warmth without toning highlights. It’s clear you put a lot of thought into it.

I feel like I'm stranded alone on an island with my "I like warm and golden tones" attitude. I look dead with neutral or ash tones so when my stylist adds a neutral toner over my highlights they become less vibrant and I can't wait to wash it out. I've tried to like the ash/beige thing that EVERYONE seems to love but it just doesn't work for me. Maybe she can just tone my roots as you described and we'll both be happy. LOL

Hey I would love to find out how to tone lightened hair and previously lightened hair. I find if I’m touching up highlights and leave the ends out, the roots and mids are ashy but the left out prices even on level doesn’t get toned as ashy. I never mean to lighten higher than the previously lightened but toner always grabs onto the currently lightened area

Silvia, thank you for this great tutorial! I am in the blonde base category. The chart in your video says equal parts 9T & 7M. The description box says 9T & 9N. I realize the description box is for generic Sally toner, but is the Shades supposed to be 7M or 9N? 🥰

The formulas shown in the video do not match the ones in the comments. For blonde, the video box shows 7M and 9T but the notes show 9N and 9T. Please clarify for beginners.

Awesome video. I recently bleached and toned my hair and my roots are white and it just doesn't look right. What's the best way to darken my roots a little?
