QVC Fashion Channel (November 24, 1993)

From my personal collection (Tape #1126). Ten minutes of the QVC Fashion Channel, an exceedingly obscure sister-channel to QVC that appears to have been in operation beginning October 1, 1991. The latest mention I can find of it being included as part of a basic cable package is August 1996.

The fact that the set is pure white and the only color comes from the outfits, just makes it look so dystopian and cold. The nice thing about watching QVC was the fact the set looked liked a downtown apartment, kinda like the set of the FX show "Breakfast Time", so when your watching QVC, it already feels warm and inviting, where this just kinda looks like they are filming in a padded room at the psychiatric ward.
