Ever since i started focusing on OHP, I've fallen in love with it. It just feels a LOT better to OHP than to bench. My OHP frequency is now same as bench. XD

Definitely have had to do alternative excercises for my shoulders because of injuries. Now, I have to change up my entire routine due to old injuries and tendinitis. I always did OHP a certain way due to my older injuries and over developed shoulders. Great advice AD💪❤🙏

Regarding the shoulder impingement, I've had problems with this in the past to the point where I messed up both rotator cuffs. I had to get almost 6 months of rehab to fix the imbalance. When I got back to training normally again, I also started employing some techniques I learned off of Athlean-X that really have to do with elbow positioning while pressing and trying to integrate external rotations in other exercises. I also do rotator cuff exercises on my off days. It's kept me out of trouble for the last few years.

Your a life saver! I was lost on what to do with the same exact pain. I didn't want to stop lifting, so I needed a good replacement. Thank you! Ill update in a couple months about if shoulder pain leaves.

yo Alex, not sure if you have talked about this before, but I have heard you mention you turn the flat bench into a decline bench form wise, my question is, do you press in a straight line or do you press towards the rack? a true decline wouldn't press towards the rack. also, does it change for you depending on your rep scheme ( ie. 1RM you press towards the rack, multiple reps in a straight line). thank you very much for your time. if you dont reply maybe consider a video on the topic since you love bench press

I would love to do perform the ohp unfortunately in hurt’s my shoulder worse then dumbbell press.

Bench pressing leads to adhesions in the subscapularis muscle. Learn how to release these adhesions and your shoulder pain will be gone.

I've noticed my shoulders getting stiff as fuck ever since I stopped doing it due to 3-4x bench frequency. I added DB Shoulder press but I don't think it works as good as OHP with a barbell. Gotta make sure to do it.

When you say keep doing your accessory work do you mean rear delt, side delt, and other ISO exercises? Also could I continue doing squat and deadlift and other exercises?
