What are some key changes in the APA Publication Manual from 6th to 7th edition regarding a table?

4. Specific notes (7.14)
5. Double Spacing (7.20)

For presenting demographic tables (e.g. with descriptive statistics at the group level), is it considered permissible to include *_N_* s in the top header?
E.g.:

Variable Group A ( *_N_* = 30 ) Group B ( *_N_* = 55 )
