First term Republican Congressman Anthony D'Esposito is in serious trouble after he was caught having an affair. But the affair is actually minor compared to the potential ethics violations that he committed to keep it quiet. According to reports, D'Esposito actually put his mistress on his payroll at his district office, paying her $2,000 a month for "part time" work. This is specifically prohibited under House rules, as Farron Cousins explains.
