Walking Railay Beach Krabi Thailand MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE WORLD 2023

Railay Village is divided essentially into three distinct areas. It can only be reached by a long tail boat return 200 baht (15 minutes from Ao Nang beach). It is quite a compact area, so you can walk everywhere. Folk here are lovely, and it felt safe. Mother Nature blessed this area with the most amazing limestone cliffs.

West Railay: beach is okay, bit rough with coral, and very tidal, so you have to walk a LONG way to get up to your knees. Sunset is good from here, and evening paddle boarding available. This is also the main entrance to any bars/restaurants

East Railay: No beach, just mangrove swamps. This is where the pier is for day trips to other islands, and where most of the backpackers stay. Some great rock climbing if you are into that.

Phra Nang Cave Beach: Sublime. Sand is like flour. Water is crystal clear and clean. They have jellyfish nets up so safe for swimming. There are a couple of swanky hotels on this side, but no bars/restaurants. Also, no loungers or vendors on the beach, so bring your own towels. You can also climb the limestone here.

I have stayed in Ao Nang back in Feb 2018 and Feb 2020, and went to Railey on both occasions. Obviously Phra Nang and West Railey beaches were amazing and East Railey beach not so much

Railay Beach and Bay, is the most popular destination in Thailand and a must see for everyone who appreciates natural beauty. I've been there twice and here is one item i think all should know about Railay. It's a peninsula on the other side of Ao Nang and the beautiful sea cliffs literally cut it off from Ao Nang. Thus the only way in is by boat. So it is very secluded and the perfect getaway for someone looking for escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Yes you are locked in pending boat schedules to Ao Nang, but be assured there are tons of shops and restaurants along the walking trail between west and east Railay. Go and enjoy this area of Krabi, I promise you will never be sorry.
