Ideal color settings for Samsung Odyssey G5 27 inch monitor

Update: I found following settings to be better than what's in the video after couple of months.
Brightness on 75 Contrast 70, Sharpness 60, R-50, G-44, B-52 and Mode 1

Optimize Samsung Odyssey G5 monitor colors.

I see most of the users complaining about washed out colors of their Samsung Odyssey G5 monitors. I recently bought a 27"-inch Samsung Odyssey G5 monitor, and I had the same problem.

I tried tweaking with the monitor settings and found these settings which gave me pretty good results. Turn off the HDR mode in windows and try adjusting following settings.

Black Equalizer - 18, FreeSync - On

Such a great monitor. I had issues with overshoot and ghosting on my Asus TUF F15 2023 (RTX 4060, i7 12700H, 32GB RAM), but with this monitor, everything works perfectly! The quality is excellent. By the way, I don't use the FreeSync offered by the monitor; I have it disabled. What I do use is the G-Sync compatible with the Asus.

if yall want a more all around, works better at night but not to well in full bright but its good try this (black eq: 16 ) (Brightness 50 | contrast 96 | sharpness 64 ) ( color custom, r 21 | g 23 | b 55) (the color settings is subjective i like dark with color pop with a brightness that's not disturbing) and game settings is also subjective unless you use a black equalizer, and most of the settings are to match two different monitors so they can be the same consistent color representation

Every video i find of this monitor's calibration has values up to 100 for contrast, brightness and such but mine only go up to 50. Why is that? Also my black equalizer only goes up to 10 and it seems to be the same model

I have a G50D and everything maxes out at 50. Such as brightness, contrast. Do you know if there’s a fix or is that the way it is

Hi, I have this monitor with gaming PC. However the image is very bad. I've tried the settings you recommend but it doesn't help. The resolution is set to 1440p and I have it with HDMI 2.0 connected to PC. The textures look very grainy no matter what I do. I've tried out many HDMI cables but nothing helped. Games like GTA 5 look absolutely horrible, even if my resolution is correct. I don't know what else to do.
