War thunder is honestly the most frustrating game I've ever played. The inconsistency of everything makes you want to gouge your eyes out.

Number one rule when it comes to team killing... Don't immediately leave the game because then it makes you look guilty.

2:32 in eastern europe we call this РПУ (Режим Персонального Угнетения) which means personal oppression mode. it's when your shells constantly don't pen and bounce when they're supposed to pen and other stuff like that. there's a theory that if a player does too good, gaijin enables the mode (also if a player does too bad, gaijin enables the mode in a way, that every other players will be РПУ'd towards the player that does bad)

I was getting frustrated so I went to another tech tree to grind and low tier truly is just so much more fun. You don't get sniper across the map at the start of a game, don't get rocketed by helicopters from 5km away, and every tank is pretty much viable

I still remember to this day when a hit from an enemy tank touched the .50 cal on my tank and destroyed me. There was no explosion or magic JFK bullet that went into my tank. The round hit the .50cal and ricocheted into the sky but still caused me to blow up instantly.

edit: Mind you the .50cal was on the top of my tank and only attached by the pole or essentially the only part that connects the .50cal to the tank but allows the gunner to swivel the gun.

The last one is a known issue that works this way. When you hit two armor plates in between their joints that means you hit the spot a 150mm and 200mm plate Connect each other their armor equivalent will add up meaning it's over 350mm of armor you hit there. Volumetric armor fixes that.
