In recovery. 8 months clean. Putting my life back together. Reading Russel's book Recovery and listening to his podcasts has been so calming, comforting and helpful.

What you've become is really beautiful to me. You've really embraced a lot and i feel like this is a step for me where im embracing things slowly and trying to be aware. I suffer with severe anger issues, anxiety, and lately depression so this was truly insightful.

Thank you Russell! Every word is a gift. I'm sorry your wisdom comes through the pain of a troubled past. But alas.. we are so grateful for your sharing of self. Namaste

Thanks for this Russell. Alcohol is my weakness and one I turn to to ‘cope’ with difficult feelings. Doesn’t really help, just makes me feel more anxious and low. Your videos give me more hope.

I am a chaos being that is attempting to switch my alignment. My cat Jaqen and my husband are my role models bc they are both super cool and fun but still have lawful qualities that I want to embody. Balance things out. Awareness is everything, indeed, bc I've noticed that I've hit a tipping point since I've begun going hard on Eckhart. My efficiency at things is exponentially increasing way more than when I was just somewhat mindful. People can still be hard. Especially the ones who want so badly to cling to roles when you're trying to connect with them. It always bums me out for a minute.

Meditation with reggae is my happy place. Roots Reggae is so spiritually uplifting and positive, it really helps me get into a state of gratitude and thankfulness. 🙏 Love to All!

I love the description of the transcendence of identity or the egoic self as being "free from the narrativizing mind" and so "aware of the vibrant nothingness." Thank you for sharing this - it's immensely helpful. Love to everyone!

i've been slacking a lot in my personal focus. lately all i can do is focus on the outside.. on specific other people. and of course it's making me all out of sorts mentally. i don't have much structure to my life at all. as an isolated person with a history of trauma and mild addiction to many things, who also has adhd, i really need structure and discipline and boundaries. and i haven't been parenting myself well lately. i really appreciate your videos in general but i really appreciate this one particularly because it can help me recenter that focal point. i really need to start sleeping on a normal schedule and keeping to a work schedule and making time for my meditation and my walks every day. i sort of don't make it a consistent thing. though i am proud of myself, i do my three pages of journaling every single day. it's not the first thing i do though.. i spend too much time looking at the phone instead of going back to sleep, getting sucked into things. thank you for this work that you do and how you make it public so we can all benefit from your learning. i think ill go meditate right now. well, i'm cooking food. i'll meditate right after that.

Discipline is fundamental. In my case there’s another thing that helps me be creative - letting go of the control. I’m at my creative best when I let go of the grasping of outcome and other things that bind me to the physical plane. Being authentic helps let go of the fear and I allow the intrinsic force to guide me. The idea of letting go is so simple yet so profound. I knew it conceptually but it took years of meditation practice to be able to see how the ego creates blocks in being able to let go of the grasping. Thank you so much for the video 🙏🏼

I find myself thankful for all the things that brought you to this place where, now, you can share information that positively nudges others to find healthier, more fulfilling paths.
Thank you for sharing this. You've provoked me to rethink how I begin my day. It's little wonder that, if I start off in chaos, my functionality, productivity and peace runs off the rails as the day progresses.

I’m a transcendental meditator as of three years and I started because of my add, depression and anxiety disorders. Haven’t had a strict routine in a while now but I’m inspired and will get back on it. As always, thank you kindly for sharing 🙏

Russell, you are the best! You encourage the spirit of "noblesse oblige" - of celebrity (or any other high status) privelage giving back to the society they are from. You are aware, you want to encourage awareness, you know your position and you seek to use it to also help others. Your words and energy reflect true effort, kindness and honesty. That is why we love you. Thank you! And, in addition to all the beautiful Zen, I will forever admire your witty humour and very English antics (I watched a recent interview with Conan which had me double over)! 🌹👏

So awesome, insightful and intelligent is this man! People that disregard and diss you because of your past are the people who MOST need to heed your reflections!!
