Most videos I see talk about a spouse who already lives in Norway and makes a certain amount of money. That’s not my case, so I’ve been a little lost. Any thought?

Hi Ansley. I am in a similar situation as you. I currently have a work permit (I got admitted for a PhD). My question to you, as a Youtuber is, are you legally allowed to monetize your YouTube channel while you are living in Norway with your residence permit? I am currently growing my own channel, but I don't know if I will be allowed to monetize it without getting in trouble because of the restriction of the permit I got (I am not allowed to work in anything other than my PhD project). Hey Ansey! How are you doing? I've been recently admitted to a master's programme at UiO too and my UDI documents checklist is the exact same as the documents you had to submit in order to get a study visa. I have a question if you don't mind, did you not have to wait for SiO's response for student housing to be able to apply? International students are guaranteed housing but I thought the embassy required a rental contract to approve the study visa
