Finally, a clear video that’s easy to understand! Thank you so much!
I’m also in the US. My wife is Norwegian, but has lived in the US for almost 10 years now. We’ve been married fir 3 years. We want to move to Norway, but need to know how to get me there. Most videos I see talk about a spouse who already lives in Norway and makes a certain amount of money. That’s not my case, so I’ve been a little lost. Any thought?
Around how much money did you need to show as funds to qualify for the school/study visa?

So lucky for you when you are a US citizen
We come from SEA and it is very strict and unfair for us to apply any visa even just a small trip

Hey there! I recently turned 17 and want to be able to move to Norway to study. I've been obsessed with Norway ever since I was little. How long do you believe it would take me to be able to move to Norway? I'm in the process of learning Norwegian and I want to apply to universities there.

Along with that, I was born in Poland but I am a resident of the United States. Do you think I'll have some issues?

Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

There system seems easy. I want to move now. Hoping to get a work visa as a chiller tech, which I guess they call engineers. Might do the student visa if it is confirmed they require a degree. I just do not like the United States. Beautiful scenery, shit pooicy

Did you have to get a part time job while you was studying so you could afford to live? :)

Hi Ansley. I am in a similar situation as you. I currently have a work permit (I got admitted for a PhD). My question to you, as a Youtuber is, are you legally allowed to monetize your YouTube channel while you are living in Norway with your residence permit? I am currently growing my own channel, but I don't know if I will be allowed to monetize it without getting in trouble because of the restriction of the permit I got (I am not allowed to work in anything other than my PhD project). Thanks in advance!

Hey Ansey! How are you doing? I've been recently admitted to a master's programme at UiO too and my UDI documents checklist is the exact same as the documents you had to submit in order to get a study visa. I have a question if you don't mind, did you not have to wait for SiO's response for student housing to be able to apply? International students are guaranteed housing but I thought the embassy required a rental contract to approve the study visa
