What I'm not understanding is HOW did you get the plug in there. What folder did you drag them into.

Yooo I Fluked It!!! Drag the "Nexus Content" folder into "Document" folders, where your other VST folders are etc "Native Instruments" "isotope" etc.. Boom.

This worked for me since my finder didn't automatically locate the components folder. However, I did find it in the iCloud folder in finder, where I just dragged the '.component' file (after you have unzipped folder that you downloaded ). I then go to Logic Pro drop down menu > preferences > Plug-in manager boom (as they say), it beautifully appeared !

Not all free plugins have an installer. Some, I would say MOST ask you to manually put the plugin components into the correct folders. That's what I was looking for.

I downloaded soundpaint and the 6gb of plugins but on my mac there isn’t any app I can open those plugins.
What should I do to drag it into my logic pro, because I can’t find them on AU instrument.

I installed my E-RM plugin version 1.09 and got wall to wall error messages with 10.8 running on my Mac. Ultra twin studio so my hardware wont sync frame accurate now period . 😕👽

This is incorrect. When I start a new project with a software instrument in Logic there's no drop-down menu saying 'default patch'. Just 'multi-timbral', output and open library.

What is the MIDI keyboard are you using? Is it plugged directly to your Mac via USB?

With VSTs can I use one of my midi synths as my controller keyboard? (which is my usual mode of operation for the built-in Logic soft-synths etc). I guess my real question here is can I change/adjust the midi-channnel of the VST, like I can do with Logic soft-synths? Thx.
