What types of topwater patterns do you like best for these types of attacks? I have caught all my pike and bass subsurface on buggers and other streamers . No steel leaders needed

That was wicked Mark 👍🎣. I cut my teeth, fly fishing for pike in England. Those heart pounding moments, watching the pike follow. Then WHAM, as it engulfs the fly 😜😜

Caught pike with steel tippet and wooly buggers in Northern Alberta. Don't remove the fly with your fingers if you want to keep your fingers attached to your hand.
