I have had this machine since 2016 and love it! I went to the Houston quilt show in 2017 and bought a Juki straight stitch machine for FMQing because several of the YouTubers I follow had one. Unfortunately, my Janome does not get as much attention as the Juki. Lol. However, I recently retired, so I plan on giving her a workout. Hahaha.

For MORE light on, pull the gray slider out on top of the machine, (that's on the very top of your machine over the needle). You will find lots of fun things on this machine...I'm lovin' mine.

You can regulate your speed without foot petal just by removing foot petal and using speed control, then push start. Very cool feature.

Got mine on sale. It was used on a sewing cruise all quilters. So because it was used I got it for $8K

Note to you. If the auto threader stops working on you take it back to your dealer as it’s known to be a problem. A was informed by a lady from Virginia. Yes mine stopped working. I took it to the dealer they fixed it for zero/nothing. It’s like a recall.
