Ive been playing protea for years. shes why i didnt quit hearthstone and have 1700? ish plus hours under my belt. NEVER have i used the hold to cancel function on her 4th ability and frankly i dunno if i just forgot about it or misread it lol

I love Protea, and just wanted to say that if you're not a fan of her 4, gloom is a great subsume for her. It's not so much about the survivability as it is the cc from the slow. You can use her passive to get pretty high slow % and then gloom will group enemies at the edge of the radius, meaning if you get the right amount of range on you can trap them perfectly inside slash grenades. Only thing is you lose out on the armor strip augment, but if you slap on epitaph or another primer then the slash from her 1 will decimate, and blaze artillery needs no help to shred.

Nice build, but how do you counter the Violence Acolyte? I used silence before in my build to counter him, but now I see that temporal anchor is a much better option, I just need a way to counter him or kill him quickly.

You can use nautilus and probocis cernos for grouping while using armor stripping ability instead of her 4

the real effort is convincing the game you aren't actually afk or using a macro when it stops letting you pick up your orbs every 5 or so minutes :u

do kinda prefer octavia now as the same kinda passive zone control frame, mostly due to juggling cooldowns less and having more time to loot & shoot, but tend to only play them when im farming for relics or doing the odd defence mission anyway.

definitely feels strongest without helminth due to her 4's augment now, which is rare and kinda nice, super hungry for all your red archon shards though

I tried using the temporal erosion augment but in a game as mobile as warframe it just wasn't good for most game modes. I use terrify with good range to armor strip every then the turrets disintegrate them. Temporal anchor is cool and good to use on defense and survival though but terrify arguably better in all scenarios

Do we really need corrosive projection, since we already strip armor with her 4 and heat procs? I feel like growing power might be the better choice here or even brief respite

Could i use a purple archon shard instead of equilibrium so i can give protea some efficiency or is it not that important?

first if this build works your getting one fat follow and second i hope it works cause i had to use atleast 300 plat for mods that i dont have on my companions weapons etc just to make 3 builds work and they still dont work

Sir, your build doesn't start with enough energy to cast dispensary at the start of the run. It feels kinda counter-intuitive to need to use an energy pad every mission on the >>dispensary<< frame.

I just don't get why people always replace temporal anchor, with that one mod it takes care of everything and just get's better. Sure there's some decent build with it replaced but they just don't feel good in my opinion. I'd rather play another frame that does it better if i need to replace it yea know =/

first ability shield regen is not great.... if you're in the midst of your invincibility period after a shield gate, the slow regen of shield will end your invincibility period early with a not so optimal amount of shield. No problem, this can be easily replaced with a much better subsume ability like condemn.
