Big Loop front seat on-ride HD POV Heide Park

There are 23 of these Vekoma MK-1200 looping coasters currently operating in parks the world over, but most vary in one way or another. What seperates ths one from others is the long stretch of straight track leading into the first loop and the minimal speed (37 mph) in which it enters the second loop.
Did you know that in 2009 the former seven car trains were replaced by the six car trains taken from the old Corkscrew coaster at Alton Towers?
Heide Park is located between Hamburg, Hannover and Bremen in Soltau, Germany.

Rode for the first time this October: this was a surprisingly good ride! I rode in the front, so it was pretty smooth! Definitely one of the better old Vekomas out there, and its position over the lake is quite pretty.

This coaster is not that scary, but my head and neck hurt a lot after riding this. The strain is so uncomfortable, your head will bump during the inversions.

This definitely is a mirror image of dragon fire at Canada’s Wonderland, so that’s interesting in itself.

That being said, I have heard that Big Loop isn't actually too bad.

Vekoma is so much better than Arrow. The entry into the corkscrew doesn't leave you hanging sideways.

I was on a European coaster trip and was SHOCKED to see how they operated this ride. Forget checking the restraints, they didn’t even put them down! They would just dispatch the trains even if riders had them still up and it was up to you to hopefully pull them down while the train was in motion heading to the lift hill. 😱
