"Inside Out 2" was the hardest I've ever cried at a Disney film, to date. It brought back memories of having dealt with anxiety, and I hope that they'll eventually make more films of Riley as she ages.

Of all the “live action” adaptations by Disney, Cinderella (2015) was (and still is) is the best one. It referenced the animated movie without trying to copy it. The characters were fleshed out more, especially the prince and his relationship with his father.

Lily James and Richard Madden had amazing chemistry, one I haven’t seen since Ever After (1998), and it made their characters’ relationship all the more believable.

Lily James and Cate Blanchette countered each other perfectly, while both are beautiful on the outside, their personalities clashed with the former being kind and courageous while the latter is cruel and hard-hearted.

And of course, I love the costume design (which I’m still baffled and disappointed that it didn’t win the Oscar for it) and the soundtrack, scored beautifully by Patrick Doyle. Kenneth Branagh understood the assignment and told us a wonderful adaptation from a Disney classic.

8:50 One of the best representations of anxiety I’ve seen in a movie. I’ve seen phenomenal representations of depression, mania, PTSD and so on, but this was by far one of the best representations of such things that I’ve seen. I loved it so much that I got three gifts related to it for Christmas from my family. This movie made me feel so seen.

Snow white is just not... the actress is an immature girl who has no filter, and just blurts whatever she is thinking without an informed perspective. And why change an original novel with its original characters?

Deadpool and Wolverine shows that they get me, that's for sure! Favorite movie of 2024 and best in the MCU since Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3.
