The Paddington Trail - Closing Days in Timelapse

Показать описание
The Paddington Trail was a celebration of the Paddington movie’s release in UK cinemas, with more than 50 decorated statues of Paddington placed across London’s parks, museums, shops, landmarks and public spaces from 4 November to 30 December 2014.
Organised by STUDIOCANAL, Visit London and the NSPCC the Paddington Trail attracted more than 350,000 visitors, encouraging people of all ages to explore London through the eyes of the world’s favourite, and most adventurous, bear – Paddington.
Forming the start of the Paddington Trail the eight statues in Paddington were adopted by Bicester Village, Costain Skanska, European Land, First Great Western, Paddington Central, PaddingtonNow, The Paddington Partnership and Taylor Wimpey Central London.
We captured activity around some of the bears over the last few days of the Paddington Trail, including the Marmalade Run on 28 December. We also filmed around the new plaque to commemorate Paddington, installed in December 2014, and the original bronze statue of Paddington by Marcus Cornish. The Paddington Book Bench designed by Michelle Heron, owned by Alan Daly, is currently on loan to Paddington Station and also features in this short film.
The statues were auctioned in aid of the NSPCC and their Childline service and Action Medical Research at a live auction at Christie’s on 10 December 2014 and in an online auction ending on 7 January 2015, raising over £750,000.
