I feel like the fact that you don’t just buy every new release, and only things you covet, makes the reviews you do much better and more impactful. The way you describe your relationship with makeup sounds poetic at times. New sub and happy I found your channel.

I wish influencers would do more reviews on older releases! Sometimes thoughts change, new products come out you can compare them too, and quite honestly, some older releases are just BOMB!!! We are so use to new things left right and center that it's nice to just enjoy something we may already own and revisit our collections!

This is the 5th time I'm watching this video. I think part of the reason I really enjoy your review is because of the vocabulary you use to describe things. It's not just "stunning" this, and "gorgeous" that. It's "bananas good" and "irreproachable". My ears and brain thank you.

Let me help. First I want to point out this colour story is very similar to your beloved Flower Beauty Jungle Lights palette and can absolutely be used in the same way you use that one. Second Jubilee can be used all over the lid, BUT like a majority of the "blitz-astral" shades can be patted on top as sort of a glitter topper. I know in the pan Jubilee is much smoother than Astral Solstice, but you absolutely can use it in the same way, which I take advantage of all the time. I basically just press my finger into the pan (not rub, just press) and then pat whatever is on my finger all over the lid and onto my brow bone like you would with the topper from TF Naked Bronze or with Cava. You may need to repeat that process a few times to build up the shine, but it will look like you took either of those toppers you love and pressed them all over your lid and brow bone.

I also want to point out, as the artist in me, is dying over the mattes she chose for the palette, which are basically a Zorn palette. In painting, those 3 colours + white (for opaque paints) are a very old tried and true limited palette for mixing skin tones that originated during the renaissance and it just gives me all the feels. Even the red is named after vermillion which is/was a super popular warm red paint used in the zorn palette. This entire palette just speaks to my love of renaissance paintings and the art revival during that era as an artist and it makes this entire colour story so beautiful and inspired to me.

Not me sitting in bed looking like a foot excitedly watching this review and my face pops up on the screen. 😂😂😂
I am SO excited that you got this palette - I knew you would love it. AND - you discovered the secret of why Pat McGrath palettes are amazing …the METALLICS. Yes the special shades are nice but I love her metallic formula more because of its versatility.

I have had Mothership 1 for a couple years now (thanks to multiple Sephora gift cards I received from friends, all dedicated to that single purchase), and this review encourages me to rethink my approach to it. Thank you for doing this, and for your thoughtfulness. As a philosopher, I love to see people actually live out their philosophies on any given front, and it's clear that you have a strong perspective around makeup, beauty, desire, joy, and balance--and I really appreciate that. Keep doing things the Hannah way!

I have been eyeing this palette for so long!
Would you consider doing a ‘looks I get from this palette’ video?

In case you didn't know, the smoother textured special eye shadows are meant to be used wet to get maximum impact. If you use either water or a mixing medium and create a slurry with the shadow, it looks like molten metal. You can also use a glitter glue to help them stand out ;)

"I have strong feelings about shiny things" is the best thing I have heard all week!! You're killing it HLP!! This new vibe is fantastically amazing 👏 🙌 ✨

I adore the gold in this palette! Its actually my favorite color in this palette. Not because i really like yellow golds, but because of how much it serves me while creating looks, which I think is very related with my coloring. It layers so beautifully over the copper, green, champagne, and the bronze to add brightness, warmth, and dimension, and is what I use when I create a halo eye. I know people love to do that with Astral solstice, but for me and my skintone, Astral solstice is just a lil to stark i think. But for my olivey skintone, the gold does such a lovely job warming up my any shade to compliment me.

I recently found your channel and I can’t tell you how soothing I find you. Your voice, mannerisms, the way you speak; all of it hits me in just the right place. And as a bonus I really enjoy your style of content.

I love new reviews of ‘classic’ makeup. Old YouTube videos just aren’t the same quality as new ones. I appreciate you, thank you so much for this video.

I'm so glad you picked up this palette! I have a few mothership palettes and this one is my favorite. It is really so versatile and I think if my entire collection were to suddenly disappear, I would have to repurchase this one. I like to take that awkward little gold and pair it with the green. Those two outcasts have a home together. They work well! I also love extreme dusk for the same reasons you do. A fine choice!!

The wording “from my husband” 🥺❤️❤️ Not just Joe, but Husband Joe!
Also, I can’t express how much I love your eloquence, style, and values when it comes to spending habits. I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon your channel. I look forward to every video.

Oh man, I just realized how much the Jackie Aina ABH palette has a similar color story as your Pat McGrath palette. And I love my Jackie Aina palette- it’s so versatile.
