A city 4K walking tour of Perth in Western Australia.

Being a Monday morning, the working day had started in the CBD.

This walk centred around the dual malls that run parallel in Perth’s city centre.

I was lucky enough to call Perth my home for 4 years during university. It is where I have felt happy for the first time in my life. That bridge crossing from Myers to the train station is really sparking some memories. It has changed a lot though. I was there in 2000. There were no gates to enter the train. The All-Day ticket for a student was $3....

I can honestly say that Perth genuinely looks like one of the most up to date and cleanest cities in the world right now. Most major cities are like the Roman god Janus. They've got two faces, one good and one bad, in terms of cleanliness and proper furbishment. I live in Vancouver and while I enjoy living there, it hs got a lot of absolutely shocking areas that make you retch in disgust at how dirty and decrepit they are, thanks to the homeless people and the unemployed scum that have no business being there, and are there just to deface the city.

Perth on the other hand, looks incredibly amazing and doesn't have that as such. I should know because I walked through it one day and was BLOWN away by how good it looked!
