Amphibious Bus driving into River

The HafenCity RiverBus is an amphibious vehicle based on an MAN chassis, which is used for sightseeing on land and in the water. The journeys are starting at the old warehouse district of Hamburg and lead to the Entenwerder peninsula, where the bus drives over a ramp into the Elbe river. On land it reaches a maximum speed of 65 km/h, in the water up to 7 knots (13 km/h). The amphibious vehicle is registered in Germany as a road vehicle and in Bulgaria as a ship.

Ich bin ganz froh, dass ich den Bus schon in seinem ersten Betriebsjahr filmen konnte. Der grellbunte Leuchtstreifen, den man später als Dachumrundung noch mit aufgemalt hat, passt nicht so richtig zum übrigen Design des Busses.

I have travelled in same type of bus by road and in river in Chicago in 2016. It is a 30 minutes trip.
