Exercise RIMPAC 22 – Reconnaissance Training

Reconnaissance soldiers are practicing their skills as part of a large-scale multinational urban clearance activity on @RIMPAC. Their mission? To observe the enemy, silently capturing intelligence and planning patrol routes whilst remaining unnoticed.

Indistinguishable from the grass they walk on, they disguise themselves in camouflage ‘gilly’ suits. Together, reconnaissance sections from @marines and @2RAR achieved their mission, leading Landing Forces from Malaysia, Tonga, Sri Lanka, Australia and the United States safely to a fictional village for the Urban Assault scenario.
