For Hoenn I feel Corphish is more underrated. Swellow was at least recognized by ash and his companions as the ace of his team(before grovile evolved)with feats worth being praised for. Corphish on the other hand had to work hard to become a reliable Mon instead of being naturally gifted like swellow.

Ash most underrated mon in inova is oshowott, he was pretty funny, and he was really injusticed in the Pokémon league, since his first opponent was a freaking hydreigon

Most underrated:

Kanto: Tauros (beat a Metagross owned by a frontier brain with Normal type moves only)

Johto: Quilava (arguably Ash’s Johto MVP)

Hoenn: Glalie (Ash’s Hoenn League MVP and arguably his strongest Hoenn Pokémon before the Battle Frontier)

Sinnoh: Torterra (not really underrated but more overhated)

Unova: Pignite (people forget how strong that thing was)

Kalos: Talonflame (arguably stronger than Swellow and Staraptor)

Alola: Incineroar (his actual Alolan ace)

Journeys: Dracovish (got a lot of clutch wins for Ash that it deserves more recognition for)

If Staraptor never existed I would have Talonflame as the best regional, Swallow is by the worst regional bird in my opinion, Ash's best regional bird is Staraptor, better in battle and stats that's why it is better.
