people said after the houston series, he played poorly and he still broke the record for points in a conference finals, shooting 40% from 3. That was his BAD series. Also, counting the fact that Steph missed all the first round and first two games of the second round and the warriors were 6-1 in those games. KD was killing for sure

I first thought the series against Houston to be over when the GSW were trailed 3-2, but they rallied to win in 7. The team was not as spectacular as the previous season but still they earned a back-to-back. Similar to the 1987-88 Lakers against Detroit.

I still believe if it wasn’t for his dignity and off court drama, he wouldn’t have returned early from his calf injuries and went on to torn his acl, and maybe we can still see this version of kd playing healthy at full strength 😢
