From what I heard at the game award’s they’re doing a more rogue like style to the game but on top of that I hope there’s some sort of story that connects your different runs

This is a standalone game from Elden Ring as we currently know it. This is a unique spin on the franchise though. You play in a party of 1-3 characters, and have to outlast a 3 day-and-night cycle. You choose from different heroes to play as, and you can explore the world of “Limveld.” While exploring, the map shrinks as the night approaches. Exploring is how you find new equipment, discover new areas, fight enemies, and challenge field bosses to level up. At the end of each day, there is a main boss to fight. The 3 days cycle builds up to a big final boss at the end as well. It seems pretty cool, and it’s is something unique for them. FormSoftware did claim they were working on some different things and this qualifies. I believe another person is directing this as well instead of Hidetaka Miyazaki. It’s pretty awesome and I’m excited to try it out.

Update: it is described as "playing as heroes, each with distinct style and flair. Stronger while bonded as a team" seams like a hero dungeon crawler kinda thing

LETS Was not expecting this at all but I’m super excited to play this with friends. Been playing a lot of co op Elden Ring but always wished it was more optimized for multiplayer. Really interested to see Fromsoft’s take on a rogue like too.

It’s probably going to be good, but different, the fans won’t like it at first and will stay resistant to the idea just like what happened with sekiro and elden ring being different, but all we can do is wait for now

I'm honestly torn. I need more info to figure this out. I don't feel like I can dump 500 hours in this the way I have with all other souls like.

I definitely want to play but currently find it hard to believe going over 100 hours. Randomized enemies, semi locked classes, and the 3 day night cycle and reseting to level one.

I'm very torn on how this will play on someone's 10th play through. I have very high hopes regardless. Just feels very different from a souls like.
