7. Rumor flipping Honeybottoms. With Grim Matchstick, the platforming mechanic is good because the attacks are manageable and the platforms don’t hinder the enjoyment of the fight. Here, the platforms can blend in and the honey constantly rushing towards you is annoying. Besides that, I don’t really see any major problems, the platforming in the level is just that BAD. 6. I like the idea of a play and the fact that you can change the whole play is awesome, but her attacks are really boring and the difficulty is kind of there, I guess. 5. I like how each phase of Captain Briney Beard gets more complex kind of Like Baroness Von Bon Bon but the visuals are kind of just alright. 4. I love the charming visuals of Werner Werman, but I feel that can’t compensate for the lack of difficulty presented in this fight. 3. Cala Maria is a pretty good boss, I just don’t like the stone mechanic and the background is kind of just meh in my opinion. 2. I actually like Dr. Kahl’s Robot. I don’t think it’s too long if you use supers well. I think the main problem is the range of his attacks which I think is actually good for reinforcing the difficulty of Cuphead and I also think the aesthetics are wonderful in the fight. 1. Phantom Express is easily one of my favorite fights in the game, the gorgeous spooky visuals of the bosses and the nice background mixed with the reasonable difficulty makes it amazing in my opinion. Also, I would put King Dice in between Werner Werman and Briney Beard and also put the Devil on top.

Why are the coolest bosses the hardest bosses

this game is a lot easier than i remember, but the only boss that i wanted to punch my nintendo switch because of would be dr kahl's robot
i could only beat him with the game djimmi's wish and parry ring and it pissed me off so much
every other boss in the main game outside of the dlc took me 1-10 tries
here's my list too
1- phantom express (cool little segmented boss fight where you take down members on the train as you lass by it to collect their debts)
2- werner werman (easy and fun, is really creative with the boss fight, especially the second phase with bottle cap saws)
3- cala maria (is one my favourite plane fights. i had to cheese it using parry ring from the dlc to get health back)
4- rumor honeybottoms (this level is very cool in general, similar to grim matchstick. the attacks don't line up very with the level design, but the game is just "yo bro, let's gamble at the devil's casino" so it doesn't matter)
5- sally stageplay (this boss is very easy and only took me 3 attempts since i was trying to go for the secret route.
6- captain brineybeard (the chest and final phase is cancer to deal with sometimes)
7- dr kahls robot (don't need to explain.)

5. Dr. Kahls robot (its annoying and a good challenge and I actually beat it first try)
4. Phantom Express (its pretty cool but the pumpkins and ghosts are very annoying)
