Simple Smokey Eye for Beginners ♡

Hello everyone! :) Today I wanted to share with you this super quick and easy, beginner friendly smokey eye look that looks great on everyone, and only requires one eyeshadow brush, four eyeshadows, and two tiny little minutes to create! Hope you enjoy! ♡

Brush used: Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush (love this one!!)

Eyeshadows used: Make Up Store microshadows in the colors "Muffin", "Smog", "Kakaw" and "Pollution".
(Other similar shadows I recommend and often use are Makeup Geek eyeshadows in the colors "Shimma shimma", "Latte", "Americano" and "Corrupt").

I had a wedding to go to and I'd been trying various smokey eye tutorials and failing miserably. Two hours before the event, I tried this tutorial with 💯 success. Everybody loved my makeup. It wasn't OTT, and I didn't look like a 🐼 Thanks so much for a very helpful video.
A tip for those struggling with eye makeup: start with the eyes. Once that's done it'll be a breeze to do the rest of the face. All makeup videos do the face first but honestly, tackle the hardest bit first I say, get it out of the way. Using this tip I was able to get ready well before the deadline!

FINALLY!!! I struggle with eyeshadow but always dread watching these super long videos where half of the video they just talk, and talk, and talk🤦‍♀️ and use all these brushes that make it seem complicated. I like how well you explained things - it was in a logical pattern, "four shades from lightest to darkest". Other peoples videos just show different colors blobbed on. This video had a logical flow : )

Honestly, this is the best tutorial I’ve found so far. It’s short and simple and I think I literally just achieved my first perfect simple smokey eye with this video. The only thing I’d add is applying primer or concealer on the eye before hand (then again I wasn’t working with the most high quality pigmented shadow). All that to say, THANK YOU for this video!! 🙏🏻

I love this video! I’ve been looking everywhere for a simple smoky eye tutorial for a couple of years now and each video I come across is either extremely confusing or too long. This video was short but perfect for someone who wants something simple. Other makeup artists take about 20 minutes to place 3-4 eyeshadows on their lids with different brushes that are always name brand. It’s frustrating but this video? I finished it satisfied.😌💜

There are a million smoky eye tutorials out there, but most of them go on and on and on and on and .... by the time they're over, I've forgotten how to do it. AND they spend so much time talking about their sponsors' products - which one clearly MUST use in order to get the same effect! 😆😆 Not only was your tutorial brief and easy to follow, I was also able to do one eye right along with you in real time as it rolled, which made it MUCH easier to retain the correct procedure in memory.
