I have tried the apple cider vinegar ear rinse from watching your other video with good results for my allergic toy poodle.  Thank you, Dr. Jones for the suggestions.

Love you Dr. Jones!!! I have 2 completely different questions.... a couple of my dogs "broke out" with what I thought might have been sarcoptic mange (possibly from digging in gopher holes). I began treatments with Borax and hydrogen peroxide, and also adding Diatomaceous Earth in their food and the bumps all started disappearing, but my one boy has 3 or 4 bumps on his head and neck, that aren't going away. They're not sores, more healed over, but I just want them gone! :p Second question, ...I will be starting TENS unit treatments on my Bull Mastiff boy who has slightly injured his left cruciate, it must be a small tear because it's not slowing him down (as I try to do!!), but he stiffens up after sleeping and then favors the leg. I've ordered a brace for him already. I was hoping you might do a video on correct placement of electrodes for TENS unit treatments. Thank you for ALL of the awesome <3 <3 <3

Very informative .. thank you ! thank you so much ! Monistat for yeast ear infection . I have that in my med. cabinet and never thought of trying . I probably wouldn't have tried anyhow, but will now . I have paid such high vet bills on meds for my little rat terrier . Merci

Hello Doctor, one of our adopted cats has pemphigus. He is 10 years old. Are there any natural remedies that you would recommend? Thank you.

First thank you so much for your videos! You have been a blessing for people like myself who love our animals dearly but can't afford a vet. Thank you for the safe alternatives!! Now for my question.. my poor pup (blue pit bull 11 yrs old) gets yeast infections in her ears. I've changed her diet and am going to try the apple cider vinegar, but can you use like a monostat 7 or will that damage her ears?

Love your videos, Thank you. I have a question please. My 11 year old Border Collie Dixie is 52lbs and has Hip Dysplasia and arthritis and has recently had a slight tear to her ACL. I can't afford the surgery and the vet gave us Rimadyl on monday. I’ve been very nervous about this. I ordered Turmeric Curcumin to replace the rimadyl. Her last Rimadyl was yesterday morning 50mg. How long should I wait until starting the Turmeric? I also have her on Glucosamine, Chondroitin daily. The turmeric chews say 300mg and to give two once a day. Is this dose going to be adequate for my dogs issues?

I need some help! I have three ten week old kittens...two who have gone from being healthy & playful to lethargic, weak, drinking a lot of water with vomiting and diarrhea. Everytime they eat they vomit & have diarrhea. This has been going on for three days straight. They have lost a lot of weight. I took them to the vet and they gave them medication for nausea and also Proviable-DC and kept them most of the day for observation which was yesterday (Friday) and released. Now, they are worse then when I took them in and its Sarurday and of course their office is closed as its Saturday. What can I do in the mean time? I cannot afford to take them to the ER Animal Hospital but I can and will take them to my vet Monday morning. But as I said....What can I do to relieve some of their misery or keep them alive until then? One is extremely sick and why my vet did not run blood tests....I have no clue as they are very sick. One last thing....I do not have plants in my house and have checked everything so no poisoning is suspected. Thank you!

Doc, I have a 12 1/2 year old Maltese, and we live in the country of Panama, so the quality of vets is questionable. Approximately 2 weeks ago his abdomen started to become distended. Now it is completely distended. I have been following the guidance in your book regarding constipation and bloat. He is able to poop and urinate without any real problem, his breathing is fine, his disposition is good, and he still gets excited about things that have always excited him. He has an appetite and has been drinking water. I have been giving him, Mylanta, some home-made remedy which I do not recall, and we started him on a diuretic last night. Should I give him liquid Tumeric? Can you please provide further guidance as to what actions we, as owners, can take, short of taking him to a vet. Some of the natural remedies (licorice root, etc) are very difficult to get down here, but, if absolutely necessary, we will take him to a vet.

What do I feed a cat with both chronic pancreatitis and CKD? The prescription diets are high in fat, a no-no for pancreatitis. In fact, his FPL was normal until he was placed on a prescription GI diet, and now he has another abnormal FPL on the prescription KD diet. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Also, with regards to CKD, are veterinarians aware that the distemper vaccine has been implicated in its development via an autoimmune response against kidney tissue? At least one virus in the FVRCP vaccine is grown in feline kidney tissue. Makes sense.

Yesterday I had to euthanize my beautiful Teddy. A DSH that I had for 15 years. I really thought that he was in kidney failure only to find out that he had thrown a blood clot. First I had never heard of this. I have done some reading and it seams that there is nothing that can prevent this type of episode. I might add that he was taking Methimazole for Hyperthyroidism. Just wanted to get your thoughts on the subject.
