This is an awkward move by Mike Babcock. He gave Igor Ozimaganov all the opportunity in the world at the expense of Justin Holl. He expected Holl to jump right in at crunch time and perform and now Babcock is stepping over Holl for Rosen because he hasn't played and Ozigamarlov is not  an NHL defensemen. The only thing going for Rosen is that he played hockey this season. What happens if Rosen can't make the jump and Gardiner can't play, I guess it's good old Marincin. But wait, Marincin isn't good enough because he was put on waivers. They were willing to lose him and now he's being scratched for Rosen. Last year with the Marlies Justin Holl was plus 34 and
the Marlies top defensemen. Rosen played down in the lineup against weaker opponents and was
plus 1. Also, Holl had more points playing the same number of games as Rosen.
