What I noticed and is not explicitly explained in the game: If you get the white marker over your head like Jake does at 18:53, that means another player has you marked like Jake has them. Good to know that you are visible to at least one player around you.

Nice to see someone else having the same issue as me, the hammer sometimes doesn’t stop fall damage, really annoying, especially when you die to it, hopefully gets fixed soon. Great video keep up the great work

Great content as always Jake! Watching your vids have given me a confidence playing the game I never had before. I started in last season once I heard zero builds was a thing.

I was wondering if you could do a video on how to understand zones and rotation. As in, how to tell what will be dead side, etc. I think as a new player some of that knowledge still seems foreign to me.
Also, you're such a talented player sometimes it's for a novice it's almost intimidating. I love your spectating random players vids, would love to see you review some of your own bad games and talk about what you could've done differently. I think seeing such a talented player also make mistakes and then how they correct them would be super beneficial to the newer players.

Thanks for the tips, I watched this video about 2 hours ago and just scored a Crowned Victory Royale with 11 elims! The red-eye AR is indeed OP and now my weapon of choice. All your tips are on point.

The perks I found quite useful would be
1) bush warrior because if I don’t have any heals and there’s bushes near by, I can simply heal up in a bush while using it as cover
2) rare tactical weapons, because the tactical assault rifle is just OP, especially when levelled up to max
3) radar ping because it revels enemy locations when they are near you
And lastly 4) forecast because it reveals where the next safe zone will be allowing me to scout out and areas I can use to get an advantage over the enemy
I would also consider getting the perk where you are more likely to get chug splashes out of chest because I have been through predicaments where I almost died but I was able to heal because I had the perk for chug splashes, and another would be Aerialist because having the ability to use your glider at any given time is so useful in my opinion

Good video and good tips. Just got my very first solo win yesterday....been landing in the outskirts, loading with shotgun, smg, and assault rifle or sniper with some heals. Haven't played much since season 2 due to lack of building skill. Just can't seem to stop freaking out when the pressure is on. Now that it's run, hide, kill, I've been doing better and the game is fun again.

Hey! I have a question, is there any particular reason why you don't use the visualize audio setting? ive found it to be extremely useful yo the point of being OP for me. When you're up against someone using it and you dont have it on yourself, you're at a massive disadvantage imo.
