A Covid Friendly Day Out! Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, & Vickery's in Mt Pleasant, SC!

We are always looking for something to due that is low risk for catching Covid! Today we drove down to Fort Sumter (where the American Civil War started) and to Fort Moultrie. Then we had lunch on a great deck overlooking the marsh at Vickery's in Mt Pleasant. It was a fantastic way to get out of the house!

Wow! Seeing Fort Sumter now it’s hard to believe that it used to be three stories high. That’s so crazy! It’s a beautiful fort though and I like visiting places that are only accessible by boats! 😊 Vickery looked like a great place to eat! 😋

Very nice! We just got back from Myrtle Beach. I'll have to add that trip next year. If you like picking sea shells, I would recommend the "Shelling & Lighthouse Tour" that hails from Georgetown.
