Some guy reported me because I told him I'm a virgin (which is true) and he didn't believe me, so he reported me and I got shadow banned. But I was still allowed to purchase tinder gold. Waste of time and money 😢

The problem with it is it could be discriminating select people and that is a suitable offense. I would suggest before they end up with serious lawsuits by others to stop doing it because the reasons they do it are Misguided. They don't know the people that use the app so they can't really shadowbanned you because they don't know who you are. Going off of he said she said it's not even something you would pass in court with. There wouldn't be even one excuse that they could give a courtroom to say that it was reasonable to mess with someone's life. They don't know what that person has going on and what they need or anything. Unfortunately they may still be ignorant with such a thing and tell somebody gets upset with them and there really wouldn't be anything that they could do to stop them from being sud. They wouldn't have any way to stop it. It would be a sure thing.

Thanks for explaining thing well enough for me I now understand why my messages were not getting through. And why I all of a sudden stopped getting matches and started seeing ugly profiles.

It's so strange. My profile had like 11 likes and suddenly it stopped (i was chatting with nobody so i couldn't have sent anything off limits)
for weeks i was stuck on 11 likes, they only dropped. I deleted my profile and waited 2 months. Then i was on vacation in London and created a tinder profile again, just to see who was around. within 10 minutes i had 9 likes.
Since I'm back home my account is dead again. I restarted the account yesterday and still have 0 likes.

This did work as the first couple hours of my new account I got lots of matches. But after that I haven’t got 1 since
The only thing I could put it down to is when I put my location on for tinder to see where I am they recognise my location ( my house) from the last account I had ( shadow banned one)

I get lots of matches daily, but only via the stupid platinum folder. When I actively swipe I get Zero. This started out of the blu in March 2021, shortly after platinum came out. What is it? I got no -ban warning or anything.
