Gobi's Valley (Banjo-Kazooie) || GameRaga

Показать описание
Launching GameRaga, a platform for Indian-fusion and folk metal covers of your favorite game music!
While I plan to do very little music videos for this project, I wanted to finally create an individual artist and platform to release my works involving sitar, tabla, Bollywood influence, and otherwise Indian instrumentations! This way I can better explore progressive metal works as myself and not force any typecasting or expectations!
This track was one of the first times in my life I could extremely loosely connect Indian music to video games! While the game itself is a visual tribute to Egypt and the desert, the song itself seems to broadly feature music styles of Spain and otherwise not quite in the vein of Indian music. While I worked on different "scales", or Raags with Sitar, I found ways to make that famous opening section conventional featuring more meend (bending) and of course a bit of percussion to like tabla and similar.
I hope to make this a fun side project with guests now and then, but best of all I'll be working on releasing the tracks on Spotify! You can find them under GAMERAGA or RO PANUGANTI as well, so your support there makes a big difference! Hopefully we can bring some GameRaga songs to the live stage too!

I'm Ro P. and I make progressive-rock music, covers, and more! If you like crazy riffs, diverse rockin' tunes, or video games you should check out my channel!
I do NOT make TABS or SHEETS for my music.
