"will the blanket reduce the sound from my neighbor side?" ==> the acosutic blankets designed to absorb the sound by cutting down reflection ( echo) from the walls. It is not as effective as a sound barrier. It might give you about 4 dB sound reduction, which is distinguishable for a human ear and might do the trick, but if you are talking about soundproofing that wall, you need to look into high density heavy products, like Mass Loaded Vinyl, or wall of Drywall

What do I need which vocal booth blankets material for perfect vocal recordings?

So many of these would I need to replace about 20 zig zag 72"x80" (or so) 5.5lb moving blankets (so about 110 lbs of blanket). My current blankets are really dusty (got them wholesale for like $200 for the lot) so they're a bit irritating to the nose and throat. And regularly cleaning 20 moving blankets that weight that much is very difficult.

I am looking to reduce the echo reverb in a video recording studio, with high ceiling. About 4-5 m I think. Sorry I don't know what that is in inches. Would covering the walls suffice to get a fairly good sound absorption? Or do I need to cover the ceiling as well?

Hi my name is Robb and I recently bought 2 of the blankets. However I am perplexed as to how to hang them. The grommets are only 0.5" in diameter and I have no instructions with the blankets on how to hang them. The only rod I've found that will fit is not strong enough to support the weight of the blankets. Please help me. Thanks
