Tense ceasefire largely holding across Syria

Показать описание
A day after it came into force, the US and Russian backed ceasefire appears to be largely holding across Syria.
There have been some reports of minor violations, including sporadic shelling in Aleppo.
But two aid convoys have begun their journey from Turkey. The UN says it still needs Syrian government approval before it can deliver the urgently-needed supplies to besieged areas.
If the pause in fighting holds for seven consecutive days the US and Russia have agreed to carry out joint operations against ISIL and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, the group formerly known as Nusra Front.
Al Jazeera’s Stefanie Dekker reports from Gaziantep on the Turkey-Syrian border.
