Didn't realize how dangerous Olmo was until he left. The fact that he likes to strike the ball and attract defenders, just makes him so deadly near the box.

8:45 - We start to see it more. Just not with Barcelona. Real Madrid players seem to pick up injuries conveniently at the beginning of international break which turn out to be long enough to miss games with national teams but short enough to be available for first club game after the international break. Also Real Madrid are more powerful. Because how else you have Mbappe playing in Lille game after injury, probably playing on weekend as well and not getting call up to play for France? City been doing similar things.

Honestly Inigo has been in BEAST mode since Flick showed confidence in him..looking forward to the competition at centre back.

Just a comment on the competition we have right now at the club. It's genuinely so satisfying to see Flick actually practice what he preaches about no player having a guaranteed starting position in the team. How many times have we heard this from previous coaches without having any confidence that they'll actually do it? It's great to see that Flick puts his money where his mouth is and instills such a healthy atmosphere of competition around the team. This is what we've needed for so long now!

We lost to Monaco with 10 men. But Madrid and Bayern lost with their full squads. Ladies and gentlemen, we can go far with Flick's Barca.

Regarding return of injured players:
1) Season is long, everyone will have their minutes.
2) With Fati and De Jong, Flick showed that he doesn’t put returning players to play full games from the get go. So I wouldn’t expect existing combinations to be broken for a while barring injuries (Hope to God it doesn’t happen)

I don’t know how Flick would manage it when all the injured players are back but in anyway it has to be two other midfielders and Casado. He is way more defensive and he does it very intelligently, good keeper of the ball and can pass too. He gives us stability in midfield.

I feel so comfortable with Hector Fort in our lineup, same as Cubarsi. I hope he gets more opportunities, very solid defensively and calm and collected with the ball. One of my favorite players right now.

I feel Dani olmo is what feran Torres supposed to be or what the club had intended

I think it is NOT a good idea to replace the current starters with the usual starters just like that. Flick needs to transition slowly and only where and when necessary.
It's great to have the squad complete soon and rotate continuously.

Of all the injured players, i am more keen on the return of Dani Olmo. I miss his brilliance, which is being taken by Ferran Torres.
