RBI Governor’s address

The steps taken by the RBI to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 is truly commendable.
They've been committed to maintain the growth trajectory of India by taking appropriate regulatory actions.
But monetary policy steps will not be fully yielding if the fiscal policy is lagging in terms of policy actions.
We need a coordinated effort of monetary as well as focal policy to ride over this pandemic.
As our country was facing a demand side issue, so we urgently need big fiscal steps to give more cash to the public.
